We are a research team leading by professor Dr. Samuel A. Hevia working in surface science and nanotechnology at the Institute of Physics of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Our research is focused on the use of nanomaterials in technological applications. We explore fabrication methods and studied the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials, thin layers and surfaces, using advanced experimental techniques. Particularly we are exploring their use in photocatalysts for green hydrogen production, sensors, and cathodes for lithium-ion batteries.
